Once I decided to go ahead he gave me a call, answered all my questions, and installation was arranged in short order. Drew and his associate arrived first thing in the morning and both were professional/personable and very efficient. There was a slight issue following my install, but Drew managed to quickly make it right! I'm so happy I found Convertible and would certainly use them for any future HVAC needs. Wegen Chow22 October 2025Had an intermittent problem with my furnace. Convertible Heating and A/C contacted me to set up an appointment soon after I placed my initial service call. While on site, they expertly diagnosed and explained as they troubleshoot and discovered the root cause of a kinked hose affecting the pressure sensor. After hose replacement, they stayed on site to test and ensured the furnace was operating properly before departure. Within less then 24 hrs, my problem was fixed. Convertible Heating and A/C has continued to provide me the best servicing (and installation of other items I purchased from them) of all the utilities companies. From submission of the work request, he came over to inspect within 1 hour, stayed for an hour to do a full inspection, make a plan, explain everything and answer a ton of questions. He was in constant communication until the part was in 2 days later. He came over on time, did the job, and an excellent job too. He cleaned up, then answered several other questions. He was efficient, trust worthy, skilled, seems like a “family-man”, extremely pleasant and kind. Sandy Logan21 August 2025I recently retained Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning to replace my older furnace and A/C units. I had nothing but a positive experience from the moment I contacted Convertible to discuss my project. Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of what I currently had in place and what he would propose to replace them with and why. I had many questions and Chris listened and answered them all. On the day the work was scheduled to start, Ali and David, the installation team, arrived right on time and got straight to work. Both of them are professionals to be sure. First things first, they put down protective floor coverings in all travel paths to ensure that no traces of dirt, dust, etc. would remain after the work was finished. During the project, I would periodically see how they were doing, ask some questions then leave them be. They would always answer my questions without hesitation. Once complete, everything was tested and fully operational. Oh, once the job was complete, the work area was absolutely spotless, I would never have known anyone was here! I had a Panasonic heat pump installed by this company in Sept 2024. The reason for this delay in review was that I wanted to go through a complete cycle of all the seasons to ensure Cool and Heat worked. My experience in each stage of the journey is this: 1. SALES – Chris Amodeo was very helpful in answering questions. Pleasant and courteous. He put us in touch with the installer to finalise the details. 2. INSTALLATION - Roop was the installer, and he spent a great deal of time deciding the placement of the indoor and outdoor units, considering the size of the units and how I wanted the pipes to run neatly and where to place the outdoor unit. The outcome was that 85% of what I had originally intended was changed and for the better! The pipes all lined up and capped nicely. The whole installation looked very neat and organised, both inside and outside of the home. Because the outdoor unit was eventually situated at the front of the house and was very visible, Roop gave me ideas about hiding the outdoor unit. It worked out very well. 3. OPERATION - After a few initial hiccups, we learned how to operate the heat pump properly. Heat worked in the winter but when summer came, the units worked only for a short period of time and displayed an error code. My first call to the company was on 18 June 2025. The issue was resolved on 29 July 2025. The first guy sent by the company checked that everything was connected fine, no leakage and topped up the gas for the cool mode. The error still happened. I decided then to run tests on my own and this was how I found out that 2 of the units had to be turned on simultaneously for each of them to work and even then, the cool air lasted only for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. If the units were operated individually, they shut down after 25 minutes and an error code is displayed. Called in the issue again with the findings. The same initial person came again, made a switch in the terminals and was still not working properly! I had made four more calls to the company after this. Finally, a call to Chris Amodeo who suggested getting in touch with Grant White, the Operations manager and sent Steven. Steven is a keeper! He listened to my findings and took the time and trouble to call Panasonic and received the resolution. Many, many thanks to Steven! There was indeed a mismatch between the terminals and piping for 2 units, which lined up with the results of the tests that I ran earlier myself! Steven fixed the issue and now each unit can be worked individually and/or simultaneously without any of them going into error. Some might find the resolution time long, but I believe if the right person was connected to the customer, everything would work out – as proven with Roop and Steven. Nevertheless, if I had to do it all over again, I'd still go with Convertible AC. This very expensive investment is worthwhile. Thanks again Steven, Roop, Chris and Grant!Posted on Google

Milada Disman6 July 2025I may not have enough superlatives in my vocabulary, to describe my experience with this company.My old AC broke during the heat wave.I did not have much hope that in the highest season I will get replacement soon. Based on the reviews, I contacted this company. Two hours later I have received a phone call and in a very pleasant conversation was clarified what system is needed for my house. It was taken in a serious consideration that I am a senior with a compromised immune system and the need for AC is quite urgent. In two hours I have received the proposal offering the top brand of AC for a very, very reasonable price.Then I was promised an installation in two days.The technician arrived on time, was super polite and efficient.Now my house is comfortable again and thinking about the whole experience makes me smile.Posted on Google

Communication was great with Chris for the in person quoting, and the technicians did an amazing job installing the unit, making the extra effort to help with rerouting piping to get extra headspace. I went with them because I saw they had good reviews for their post-install support and judging by the attention given to the install, I think I made the right decision. I looked around and eventually spoke to Chris at Convertible. It was refreshing to hear what they had to offer and at a reasonable price, with next day service. They just asked how big the house is, and installing a new ac first time or replacing with new one. Then they told us the price right away. When we called other companies, they always tell us, send a sales person to my house then he or she will explain things... for us it is very annoying. Second, it was very fast to get the service and the workers are very Professional. On a schedule meeting Mr. Christopher, Salesperson gave us the best deal with best equipment and answered our all questions, So we decided to higher Convertible for the job. They were fast giving me a quote and the price was right considering that they also offered warranty and considering that it is a family business for over 50 years it gave me the assurance to choose them. Within days, I went from no heat to an efficient system where every little detail was taken care of and completed beyond the bare minimum.
